Women’s Adult Basic Archery/Shotgun Workshop
When: Saturday, July 19, 2014
Where: EE Wilson Wildlife Area, near Corvallis
Time: 8:00am to 4:00pm
Come join ODFW and learn the art of archery and trap shooting. This workshop is designed with the beginner in mind who may have no previous experience with archery or shooting a shotgun. You must be 18 years old or older. During this workshop you will learn: how to handle a bow safely, proper stance, how to “load” the bow and will get a great deal of hands on practice shooting a bow in a safe environment. We provide all the necessary equipment, bows, arrows, arm guards, finger tabs, targets, instructors and lunch. Shotgun instruction includes shotguns, ammunition, clay targets, eye and ear protection and safety instruction. One group will learn how to shoot a shotgun at clay targets in the morning, while the other group learns archery, and we will switch after lunch.
