Cost: FREE birds and safety gear available. Everyone in the field must wear orange hats, orange vests, and safety glasses – which are available at the event or bring your own. Youth must purchase a valid license and legal validations.
Time: Hunting @ 7:30 am – 10:30 am. There are 3 hunts per day, sign up for 1
Shotgun area open 7:00AM-4:00PM on both days of the youth hunt, instruction is given by volunteer hunter education instructors. Clays and shells are provided, this is a free event.

The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife is pleased to invite you on this youth upland game bird hunt. These hunts are designed to teach young hunters how to hunt safely and enjoy an introductory experience in the field hunting pheasants.
If you bring your own firearm, please provide the appropriate shells for your own gun.
You must have in your possession a valid Oregon Hunting License as well as Upland Game Bird validation in order to hunt pheasant. All youth 17 and younger must carry a hunter education certificate or a department issued document that states the Hunter Education certificate number.
Youth will not be allowed to hunt without the proof of Hunter Education. Each youth must be accompanied by an adult age 21 or older (1 youth per 1 adult)
