In order to provide a better workshop experience for you, the handlers and their dogs, you will be REQUIRED to take an ODFW Basic Shotgun Workshop prior to attending this hunt. This will allow us to start hunting earlier and be done before the heat of the day.

The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife is pleased to invite you on this upland game bird, pheasant hunting adventure. Come and enjoy this half-day workshop which is designed to teach beginning hunters how to hunt safely and enjoyably while introducing participants to the exciting sport of upland game bird hunting. Small groups of hunters will be paired with a volunteer guide and dog to hunt. Your workshop fee includes instruction, use of equipment, program materials, guides and dogs. All equipment will be provided.
All youth must be accompanied by an adult hunter. You must have in your possession a valid Oregon Hunting License ($32.00) as well Upland Game Bird Validation ($9.00) in order to hunt pheasants at this workshop. For more information on licensing, refer to the current Oregon Game Bird Regulations or call (503) 947-6101. Hunting licenses and validation tags will NOT be available to purchase at this event so please purchase them in advance.
Youth must be either Mentored Youth participant or have passed Hunter Education
Cancellations received two weeks (14 days) prior to any workshop will receive a full refund. No refunds will be given for cancellations received less than two weeks prior to a workshop. You may however, send a substitute participant in your place.
